Is there anything more comforting on a chilly winter day than a warm bowl of soup, perhaps enjoyed nestled by a crackling fireplace or cozied up under a blanket in front of the TV with your favorite movie playing on the screen? And with flavors ranging everywhere from classic tomato bisque or herby chicken noodle to hot and sour Tom Yum or cheesy broccoli and cheddar — or anywhere in between — there are endless possibilities to get your soup fix.
According to a list compiled by Yelp, the best soup in all of Georgia can be found at Siamese Basil Thai in Norcross, with the site recommending the coconut soup. The sweet and creamy dish served at this Atlanta-area eatery is loaded up with chicken, mushrooms and scallions with hints of lime and lemongrass. As one Yelp reviewer raved: "Their coconut soup is delish and they use bigger mushrooms. It's hearty, flavorful, and rich — just how I like it."
