And with flavors ranging everywhere from classic tomato bisque or herby chicken noodle to hot and sour Tom Yum or cheesy broccoli and cheddar — or anywhere in between — there are endless possibilities to get your soup fix.
According to a list compiled by Yelp, the best soup in all of Wisconsin can be found at Swingin' Door Exchange in Milwaukee, with the site recommending the chicken cordon bleu soup. The dish served at this popular eatery has all your favorite aspects of chicken cordon bleu all perfectly balanced in one bowl. Swingin' Door Exchange, located at 219 E. Michigan Street, has a 4.7 rating on Google and more than 2,200 reviews.
Here's what Yelp had to say about determining the best soup spot in every state:
"This is an all-time list of the top spots for soup in each state according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the food and restaurants categories with a large concentration of reviews mentioning 'soup,' then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning 'soup.' This list looked at businesses in the US."
