Why Demi Moore Felt 'Naked' Walking The Golden Globes Red Carpet

Demi Moore may have looked stunning walking the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday (January 5), but she felt a "little naked" without a very special guest on her arm — her dog Pilaf.

While speaking to E! Live from the Red Carpet at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, the Ghost star said she was missing her beloved micro-Chihuahua who she had to leave behind at the Los Angeles hotel where she got ready, per People.

"I sadly had to leave her up in the hotel," she explained. "We could have gotten her [a credential] but I felt like it might've been a little much for her."

Moore praised her small pup as a true companion who would recognize her anywhere, whether decked out in the gorgeous Swarovski crystal-covered Giorgio Armani Privé gown she wore to the Globes or in mountains of prosthetics for performance in the the body-horror film The Substance, a role which earned her her first-ever Golden Globe award.

"But I feel naked without her, I do. She was with me the entire time we shot [The Substance], and the most magical thing is regardless of the prosthetics, no matter what I cam back from the makeup trailer looking like, she always knew it was me, which tells me that she knows who I really am no matter what."

The 62-year-old actress previously quipped that Pilaf is also one of the reasons she is still single, joking that if anyone saw her "nighttime routine" of gathering her nine dogs into a puppy pile, they would realize how "eccentric" she really is.
