Carly Pearce unveiled a sneak peek of an unreleased ballad to serve as a tribute “for all of us ready for a little sunshine after the storm,” she wrote in her caption on TikTok and Instagram.

Pearce, 34, sings on the track: “No clouds, no lining/ No dirt, no diamond/ No low, no high/ No wrong, no right/ No break, no fixing/ No lose, no winning/ May might bring showers/ But no rain, no flowers.” Commenters were quick to praise the unreleased song, including Lady A’s Charles Kelley, Caroline Jones of Zac Brown Band, and sister duo Tigirlily Gold, to name a few. However, Pearce did not confirm the title of the song or announce the release date as of publication time on Monday (January 6).

Pearce released her fourth studio record, hummingbird, in early June. The 14-track album includes “country music made me do it,” “truck on fire,” “we don’t fight anymore” with Chris Stapleton, “my place,” “fault line” and more. The album also marked Pearce’s first time in a producing role, alongside frequent collaborators Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.

“I have been working so hard on this album for the last few years, and it just feels awesome to finally have it out to the world and to see the way that people are loving it,” Pearce said in a previous interview with iHeartCountry. “I think I had a bigger voice and a bigger presence in not only the songwriting this round, but just in the production, and I really got to have a big hands-on part in how every single song sounded. …I feel like they [McAnally and Osborne] really understand me as an artist, and so, getting to go back into the studio this time around with them was just really awesome. We knew what we wanted to do.”

Pearce, who is gearing up to return to Stagecoach on the main stage this spring, is in the midst of her headlining “hummingbird world tour.” Pearce started the tour in early October. The next show is set for February 9. The world tour spans through mid-May with the final performance at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Karley Scott CollinsMatt LangWade Bowen and Carter Faith will join Pearce on select dates. See the list of tour stops here:
