Chick-fil-A Tweaked Its Waffle Fries and Fans Aren't Happy
Chick-fil-A recently tweaked their French fries, and now fans are up in arms, saying the minor change has had a major impact.
There was a rumor last summer they were ditching their waffle fries completely, and switching to normal-cut fries. It wasn't true. But Chick-fil-A did reveal they were looking at ways to make them crispier.
It's not clear when the new fries rolled out, but people online are complaining that they're drier, grainier, and not as good as they used to be.
Chick-fil-A added a page on their website and confirmed they ARE using a new recipe. The main difference is the fries are now coated with pea starch to keep them crispier, longer. But they claim they still have the "same great taste."
A lot of people disagree. So now everything Chick-fil-A posts on social is being flooded with comments like, "Bring back the old fries" and "Your fries are not good anymore."
(It's the second controversial menu change Chick-fil-A has made in less than a year. They also caught heat last spring when they switched from NO antibiotics in their chicken to SOME antibiotics.)
(They used to use N.A.E. chicken, short for "No Antibiotics Ever." Now they use the looser standard of chicken raised with "No Antibiotics Important to Human Medicine.")

- Taco Cabana Salad Bowl – chicken fajita, black beans, guacamole and extra-crunchy tortillas for dipping with only 300 calories.

- Half-Dozen Breakfast Taco Box – a $9.99 box that includes Bacon & Egg, Chorizo & Egg, Bean & Cheese, And Potato & Egg Tacos.

Hershey’s Teams Up With Breyers For A First-Of-Its-Kind Ice Cream Collection
Hershey’s and Breyers have teamed up to produce a first-of-its-kind ice cream collection with their new Campfire Collection that includes S’mores ice cream, S’mores Bars, and S’mores Sandwiches. All of these feature Hershey’s chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers.
S’mores ice cream tubs and pints feature marshmallow-flavored ice cream, graham cracker crumbs, and Hershey’s chocolate swirls. The S’mores Bars are toasted marshmallow ice cream encased in Hershey’s chocolate and dipped in graham cracker crumbs similar to a Good Humor bar which is also a product owned by Breyers parent company, Unilever. Finally, the S’mores Sandwich contains toasted marshmallow-flavored ice cream swirled with Hershey’s chocolate and sandwiched between two graham cracker wafers.
