It looks like the members of Jane's Addiction are recording music together—without Perry Farrell.

The band seemingly broke up after the frontman had a physical altercation with guitarist Dave Navarro onstage back in September. The band promptly canceled the rest of their comeback tour dates and, after releasing a new track, Navarro insinuated that the band was done, writing on Instagram: “New Jane’s Addiction track released today, ‘True Love.’ I am proud of the work we did on this song but I am equally saddened by the fact that you will likely never hear it live. I’d also like to publicly apologize to our crew, @crawlersband and their crew and to @loveandrocketsofficial and their crew. Thanks for being our travel companions for as long as you did. I am gutted that things ended this way and that so many jobs were lost as a result. May all of our hearts mend together.”

However, it looks like the member of Jane's Addiction might not be done making music together, after all. Over the weekend, Eric Avery shared a video on Instagram of him laying down some bass over Stephen Perkins' drum tack in the studio. "Writing some more new lines to some of Stephens drumming," he wrote. "Look forward to getting some Mr Navarro on them. 2025!"

Some fans believe this is the reboot of Navarro and Avery's '90s side-project Deconstruction, but no details have been revealed. For now, check out Avery's post below.
