Lunchbox's in-laws spent two weeks at their home in Nashville for the holidays. He complained about them coming for that long before they ever arrived, but now he has complaints post their visit.
His top four complaints were about the date they had their Christmas dinner, laundry, parking and door knobs. Here they are below in listed order!
- They had to have Christmas dinner on the 26th because his brother-in-law wasn't coming in until that date and his in-laws wanted everyone to be there for the meal. He was frustrated and thought the brother-in-law should have just missed the meal so they could all have had a Christmas meal on Christmas day. Bobby and Amy agree Lunchbox is in the right on this one and they shouldn't have worked around one person.
- Apparently, Lunchbox has been doing laundry wrong his whole life. Every time he tried to do the laundry his mother-in-law would follow him in there and tell them how to do his laundry better like not putting as many clothes in at one time. The show says the mother-in-law wins this one because she was likely just trying to help him out of love.
- Whenever they would go somewhere, his mother-in-law would criticize wherever he parked the car. He would park it far away often, and she wanted him to park closer and would always make comments when he wouldn't.
- Then lastly, his in-laws were worried that the kids were going to lock themselves in their rooms with the door knobs so they took it upon themselves to go to Home Depot, get new knobs, and replace them. Lunchbox doesn't care about the new door knobs because they practically look the same as the old ones, but he had already swapped the doors so the locks were on the outside. He felt it was them not trusting him to know what's best with his own kids. Eddie agreed with Lunchbox, but Bobby and Amy thought they were just being thoughtful and helpful.
