The New England Patriots fired HC Jerod Mayo after only one season despite proclaiming him as the heir apparent to Bill Belichick and Dan Patrick thinks it’s embarrassing for the Kraft family. We are finally seeing behind the curtain and it has revealed who was really responsible for the Patriots’ dynasty (hint: it wasn’t Robert Kraft).
Dan Patrick: “The ‘Patriot Way’ is done. OK, the ‘Patriot Way’ was (Bill) Belichick & (Tom) Brady, let’s be honest here. It’s not the Krafts. It’s Belichick & Brady because once the emperor has no clothes, it’s pretty freakin’ cold! And that’s what you have going on there.”
