Jason Smith: “There are six openings in the NFL right now: the Jets, the Bears, the Raiders, the Jaguars, the Saints, and the Patriots. There are no winners here. This is about as depressing a list of teams as you could get if you are looking for a head coach, or a head coaching who’s looking to get that next gig. None of these jobs are great. I’ll tell you, there’s one that stands out a little bit more than others...it’s Chicago, because Caleb Williams did flash many times this year.”
Mike Harmon: “All these jobs suck. I mean, the Bears, at least there’s a couple pieces of personnel, far from perfect, but at least a couple of pieces of personnel you like. You have no idea (who you’re reporting to) right? Structurally, I don’t want any part of it, even if I fell in love with the bits and pieces of the offense when it actually worked.”
On today’s edition of The Jason Smith Show with Jason Smith and Mike Harmon, Jason and Mike gave their takes on the NFL’s current slate of job openings, which look like a big platter of nothing with one exception!
