Rob Parker: ”The talk is that Tom Brady, he’s a winner. He’ll figure this thing out with the Raiders! Forget Mark Davis, Tom Brady will do it! He’ll hire the right coach, he’ll draft the right players. I’m not so convinced. People think that if you’ve won in your career, you obviously know football. You’re a winner. I’m not convinced that Tom Brady is going to be a winner as an executive. I think it’s very difficult. Tom Brady has a great chance at being Matt Millen 2.0 with the Raiders!”
Kelvin Washington: “I hope that he can be a more Jerry West, a Pat Riley, than a Matt Millen. Magic Johnson has part ownership of the Dodgers. Dodgers haven’t done anything but win their division, or win the World Series, with him on the ownership group. He becomes part owner of the Commanders, and all of a sudden the Commanders are in the postseason and got a rookie that looks good.”
On this edition of The Odd Couple with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington, Rob and Kelvin give their thoughts on the possibility of Tom Brady taking on a bigger role with the Raiders and how he might change the team’s fortunes.
