Travis Scott pulled up to the premiere of WWE Raw on Netflix last night (Monday) at the Intuit Dome.
Scott, who made the new theme song for the weekly pro wrestling program, “4x4,” accompanied Jey Uso out to the ring for his match against Drew McIntyre. It was a change of a previously announced plan for La Flame to perform “4x4” live. Instead, he appeared holding an old WWE Hardcore Championship title belt, a can of his Cacti hard seltzer, and a lit joint, which announcer Pat McAfee joked might be “sage.”
After the show ended, WWE CEO Paul “Triple H” Levesque, said, “Travis Scott is another guy like [WWE superfan] Bad Bunny. He’s a guy that grew up watching this, [an] incredible fan [who] loves and respects what we do [and] wants to participate in [it]. I think everyone should expect to see more things from Travis Scott in a big way. As it relates to Travis Scott, I want to personally thank Jey Uso...for ‘just saying no’ on that entrance. That could've gone a totally different direction and I'm thankful it didn’t!”
The topic also came up during the WWE Raw Post-Show. Jey Uso told Joe Tessitore, “I smelled it. He didn’t let me inhale it. I couldn’t. I had to go work. Yeet. Yeet. There were little kids over there, too…I was waving it towards me… Let me inhale it next time.”
