Ruling on MA’s MBTA Communities Act. The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruled on a challenge to the controversial housing law, the MBTA Communities Act. The court ruled in favor of the state ruling the law is constitutional however the regulations are unenforceable and requested that the detailed zoning guidelines that shape the law be re-written. Tonight, we discuss.
A New Era of Tackling Crime. The recent arrest of an undocumented immigrant who was busted at a state-run emergency shelter in Revere with $1 million worth of fentanyl and an AR-15 has reemphasized the need, as Gov. Maura Healey herself said, “for a border security bill to prevent criminals from entering our communities”. Tonight, Todd Lyons, the National Assistant Director of ICE joins Dan to discuss.
