Taking Back Sunday's Drummer Exits Band
Taking Back Sunday has lost the beat. Drummer Mark O’Connell has announced that he’s leaving the band after 24 years. In a post on Instagram, O’Connell said “My departure wasn’t an easy decision, and it wasn’t entirely my own.” He may have left the band, but he’s not going away; in his post, Mark reveals that he’ll be releasing solo music “with some old friends.” Taking Back Sunday had no comment about the move as of last night.

Pop Evil Announces New Album
The eighth studio album from Michigan’s Pop Evil is on the way. “What Remains” is set to release on March 21st, but the vinyl pre-order is going live for the new record on the band’s official website tomorrow. To promote it, the band’s released a video for the third single “Wishful Thinking” yesterday. Vocalist Leigh Kakaty says the single “pushes us into a realm that’s deeper, darker, and more intense than ever before.”
