CES 2025 has kicked off in Las Vegas, and one new invention is aiming to revolutionize emotional support therapy.

Tombot, a pioneer in robotic emotional support animals unveiled the next generation of pet tech at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show.

"Jennie" is a hyper-realistic Labrador retriever puppy, designed to provide emotional support for individuals with dementia, anxiety, PTSD, autism, and other health issues.

According to Tombot, 50% of the world's households don't have pets, for reasons like cost, burden of care, living restriction and health adversity.

"Millions of people facing health adversities cannot safely or practically care for a live animal companion," says the company. "That's why we launched Tombot."

Jennie's features include interactive touch sensors, voice command recognition, authentic puppy sounds, a rechargeable battery and everything is customizable through the free Tombot app.

The revolutionary pup has captured the attention of families from across the world, with over 7,000 pre-orders placed.

Tombot intends Jennie for not just individual use, but also for hospitals, assisted living and nursing facilities.
