The start of the New Year means the hunt for a new job for some Americans and new research from LinkedIn may help them find one. The career and professional networking site’s 2025 “Jobs on the Rise” report has just been released, highlighting the fastest-growing occupations in the U.S. in the past three years.
- LinkedIn’s list is based on job titles that saw the most growth on their website between January 2022 and July 2024.
- AI is in demand, with two jobs in the field – artificial intelligence engineer and artificial intelligence consultant – landing at number one and number two on the list.
- But in-person services and experiences roles are growing as well, with physical therapist coming in third overall.
- Jobs appearing in the top 25 ranking for the first time this year include artificial intelligence researcher, community planner, land agent, bridge engineer and commissioning manager.
