VIDEO: LSU School of Veterinary Medicine
A bald eagle is on the wing in Baton Rouge after being rehabilitated by the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.
The adult eagle was taken into the care of LSU Vet Med's Wildlife Hospital on November 1. The bird had suffered a fracture to the equivalent of the human collarbone.
The vet school released the recuperated eagle from the Mississippi River levee on Thursday morning.
