(Columbia, SC) - The National Weather Service is issuing updated advisories and warnings for winter weather expected today.
A winter storm warning is in effect from 10 this morning until 7 a.m. Friday for Fairfield, Kershaw, Newberry, and Saluda counties.
A winter weather advisory is in effect from 10 this morning until 7 a.m. Saturday for Lexington, Richland, Orangeburg, Calhoun, northern Orangeburg, Sumter, and Lee counties.
The winter storm system is expected to leave the state early Saturday.
