Fire Truck That Collided With Brightline Train Was On Its Way To Call

Delray Beach Police have released the 911 calls from an accident involving a Brightline train and a city fire truck.

Three firefighters and twelve train passengers were injured.

Police have now confirmed that the firefighters were on the way to a call when train camera footage shows the fire truck attempting to cross the tracks while the crossing arms were down.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has taken over the investigation at the request of the Delray Beach Police Chief.
