ALLENDALE (WOOD-AM) - Grand Valley State University is now at the center of a federal civil rights complaint.
The school is being accused of racial discrimination that may be linked to some scholarships.
The Equal Protection Project filed the complaint, which focused on eleven scholarships they say are only open to students of color.
GVSU says they are "committed to full compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations."
