The 2025 Oscar nominations announcement has been delayed due to the ongoing LA wildfires!
According to NBC News, the announcement has been delayed out of respect for the devastation hitting the LA community. They note that this year's announcement will not be televised, but held virtually and has been moved from Jan. 23 at 5:30 a.m. PT.
NBC News also reports that the voting period has also been extended.
