A teen Beaumont police are calling a person of interest in a homicide is jailed on an unrelated charge. 18-year old Eddie Davis turned himself in yesterday. Detectives want to talk to him about the January 1st shooting death of 54-year old Clifford Motton, who was shot as he was riding his bike near the intersection of St Helena and Walton. At this time, Davis was arrested on a deadly conduct warrant that is not related to the death of Motton.
