The Ashland County Sheriff’s Department will handle the duties of the Ashland County Dog Warden for the next two years.

According to AshlandSource.com,  the Ashland County Commissioners approved the understanding last week with new sheriff, Kurt Schneider, who will over see the appointment through January 15th of 2027. The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office was first appointed to the role of the Dog Warden last summer, after the former Dog Warden resigned in May.
