SUNY Oswego is set to host two Financial Aid Days to assist students and families in navigating the complexities of college financial aid. The first event will take place on Saturday (January 25) from 9 a.m. to noon at the Marano Campus Center on the Oswego campus. The second session is scheduled for Saturday (February 8) from 9 a.m. to noon in Suite 115 of the Atrium at the downtown Syracuse campus on Clinton Square.
These events are free and open to the public, providing an opportunity for attendees to receive guidance from financial aid professionals on completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) forms. Due to limited space, advance registration is encouraged.
Cory Bezek, SUNY Oswego's Vice President for Enrollment Management, emphasized the importance of these workshops, stating, "Every year, paying for college is a top concern of families looking at higher education." The SUNY system aims to help make higher education more affordable through these statewide programs.
