A man is in custody after he was spotted on Wednesday walking on I-10 in Metairie with a rifle.
Jefferson Parish deputies responded around Noon to a report of an armed man walking in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near the Clearview Parkway exit.
They found the man and picked him up while also impounding a vehicle nearby on I-10 after determining it belonged to the suspect.
The man's name hasn't been released, and the charges against him haven't been specified.
