TeeRoy's 2 Cents?:

  • First Busta, now Meth. What's going on with these old head New York rappers?
  • I don't care how old he is, I'm not trying to square up with Meth.
  • Method Man? Violent? Couldn't be. The guy's a teddy bear!
  • Whatever the reason for the altercation, I'm sure there was a "Method" to his madness.

Method Man is smacking down claims that he assaulted his daughter’s ex-boyfriend at a Shaolin gym.

The New York Post reports that the Wu-Tang Clan rapper struck a 28-year-old man by the name of Patrick Sokoyoa seven times with a closed fist at a Crunch Fitness location on Staten Island. While a complaint was filed with the NYPD, the alleged victim refused medical attention and Method Man was not arrested or charged.

Sources say Sokoyoa was a “family friend” who dated Method Man’s daughter over a decade ago.

A representative for Method Man tells the Post that “Mr. Smith categorically denies the allegations as reported and has not been the subject of an arrest by any law enforcement agency.”
