FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State women's basketball team returns home to the Save Mart Center to host the UNLV Lady Rebels on Wednesday, Jan. 22 with tip off scheduled for 6 p.m. PT streaming live on the Mountain West Network. Both teams will see each other less than a month after their first meeting on Dec. 29 at Cox Pavilion.

Three Bulldogs are averaging over 10 ppg throughout conference play (Mia Jacobs, Mariah Elohim, Kylee Fox)

Fresno State is looking for its third consecutive conference win at home this season vs. UNLV

Mia Jacobs is one of three DI players that ranks in the top two of their conference in points (18.7), rebounds (9.8) and steals per game (2.41) this season. If she maintains that throughout the season, she would become one of two MW players to do so, joining UNLV's Linda Frohlich (1999-00).

Mia Jacobs became the second MW player to record a 30-point double-double in consecutive games, joining Colorado State's McKenna Hofschild (2023-24); the last DI player to do this was Iowa's Caitlin Clark.

Bulldogs have not lost more than two games in a row this season

Fresno State is 5-2 with their current starting lineup of Saga Ukkonen, Mariah Elohim, Kylee Fox, Mia Jacobs and Maria Konstantinidou in the last seven games, this is the longest starting five streak this season

ABOUT THE MATCH UP

Fresno State and UNLV will meet for the 29th time in program history and the 21st time in Fresno. After their first meeting this season the Bulldogs trail 22-27 in the all-time meetings and 9-12 at the Save Mart Center.

Fresno State looks to even the season series meeting, 1-1. After falling to the Lady Rebels in their conference opener at Cox Pavilion on Dec. 29. The last time out in the Save Mart Center, UNLV saw a 26 point win over Fresno on Feb. 10, 2024.

FOX TAKES THE COURT

For the second time this season, Fox led the team in scoring with 14 points and marked her seventh game this season scoring 10+ points. The 5-11 forward is 65 points away from 500 in a Bulldog uniform.

The sophomore forward ranks No. 127 in the national rankings in minutes played. With 630 minutes logged thus far the Richland native averages 33.1 minutes per game. Fox sits fourth in the MW in minutes played trailing Ronsiek, Jackson and Cumber.

In games where Fox has finished in double-figures, she's played at least 30 minutes.

UNLV comes to Fresno on an eight game win streak, their last loss coming on Dec. 18 against Northwestern

UNLV remains undefeated in MW play at 7-0

UNLV holds a 21-0 MW road game winning streak

The Rebels are averaging 77 ppg and hold opponents to 62.2 ppg

During their current eight game win streak over Fresno State, UNLV has outscored the 'Dogs by an average of 10 ppg

Kiara Jackson sits as the assist leader among Mountain West players and is second in total minutes played.

In conference play, Alyssa Brown is leading the Mountain West in rebounding where she averages 10.3 per game
