The results are in!
Chicago has crowned six winners in its third annual "You Can Name a Snowplow" contest, bringing creativity and local pride to the city’s winter fleet.
The winning names, selected from 50 finalists revealed on January 10, are:
- Bozo the Plown
- Lollaplowlooza
- My Kind of Plow
- Snower Wacker
- Scoop, There It Is!
- Bean There, Plowed That
Each name will be displayed on a snowplow in one of Chicago’s six snow districts. According to WGN, residents who submitted the winning names will be invited for a photo op with their named snowplow in the coming weeks, along with some exclusive city swag.
Continuing the tradition of clever nods to Chicago culture, this year’s winners include tributes to WGN, local landmarks, and a dash of humor. Winter never looked so fun!
