The owner of a mansion in Britain says that he has been unable to sell the property for over a decade after singer Adele seemed to suggest that it was haunted. Having previously served as a convent, the sizeable estate known as Lock House was reportedly rented for six months by the musician back in 2012. At the time, she was interviewed by '60 Minutes' at the location and, during the piece, she remarked that the mansion was "quite scary." While the comment may have been innocuous, the British media was quick to seize on her 'spooky' observation, much to the chagrin of the property owner who now laments that the singer "blighted the property" by suggesting that it may be haunted.
