Winter Storm Enzo is officially over, and the last of the cleanup is underway. So how did the greater Houston Area fare during the snowstorm? In Montgomery County, things couldn't have gone much better than they did.

Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough told KTRH that they could have opened up as early as yesterday. He said, "Our roadways are clear, they're dry for the most part, and the brine solution we used worked. The sanding of the bridges worked excellently."

Keough said they had begun closing down their warming centers by yesterday morning, and he credited their quick and efficient storm response to good communication between officials.

In Galveston County, things also went relatively smoothly, but they did have some water issues. Galveston County Judge Mark Henry said that the City of Kemah did have a water main break. The good news is that as of yesterday, they had a temporary fix in place and were just waiting on parts to make a permanent repair.

In Harris County, there weren't any major incidents. Both Bush and Hobby Airports were forced to close on Tuesday, but had reopened by Wednesday. The Port of Houston is expected to reopen by 6:00 A.M. this morning.
