The rebranding of a community college pairing in Washington State saw the schools swap their mascot from Bigfoot to Sasquatch following some rather odd market research feedback. The curious cryptid change is part of an expansive transformation of sisters schools Spokane Community College and Spokane Falls Community College into the more cohesive identity of simply 'Spokane Colleges.' Beyond the new name, the rebrand includes a fresh logo and school mascot. To that end, they announced that the schools would no longer be represented by beloved Pacific Northwest denizen Bigfoot. Cryptid fans should have no fear, however, as they will now be known as the Sasquatch instead.
