Public Safety Power Shutoff Community Update

Here is some important information from the City of Temecula:

Like many other communities in SoCal, Temecula is experiencing ongoing power outages, and we urge the community to continue to remain prepared until we are through with this high fire-risk weather.

Some tips to keep in mind:

Keep your devices and power banks charged

Keep batteries and light sources handy

When power is out, keep your fridge and freezer doors closed as much as possible to protect contents

Have food & drinks available that don’t require electricity to prepare it

Switch off electrical appliances that are not designed to run unattended – such as cookers, grills, electric fires, etc – so that they don’t come on without you realizing once the power is back

Make sure that any essential medical equipment has a battery back-up

Don’t forget, you can check for current and future planned outages, & restoration times  sce.com/outage-center/outage-restoration-time
