So- among the many ‘first week’ wins that President Trump and his team are providing-
And among the many ‘campaign promises kept’- which we should also be cataloging-
Trump issued an order revoking president Biden’s order that allowed transgender troops to serve in the military.
This is part of Trump’s vow to rid the Dei nonsense from the military.
I read a story that suggested we have somewhere between nine-thousand and 14-thousand members of our military who are transgender-
I question that figure.
We have two million active military members, but still-
Even so, that number sounds high to me. But it might be true, given how President Biden’s ‘woke’ military might have been actively recruiting them.
This is just one small step that trump has taken to reverse wokeism and Dei nonsense-as promised- now that he’s back in office.
On Monday, he fired the staffers at the obscure office that Biden’s regime had set up within their government who oversaw spreading and coordinating Dei efforts across the entire federal govt.
Trump shuttered that office on Monday. On Tuesday he ordered all Dei efforts and offices-across government-to be closed by 5pm Wednesday...with the staffers of those offices being put on temporary paid leave- before they are either laid off or placed in some different role in govt.
And so- Dei is officially dead across the whole of our federal government, including the military, and it took trump and his team all of two days to do it.
As someone who has begged for republican presidents and lawmakers to -my god, get some stones and reverse course on all of this ‘creeping leftism’ within our state and local governments- but never seeing it get gone...
This is fun to watch.
Until trump, here, the pattern was: when dems were in charge of the white house and congress-they’d shove 100 lefty things into place...and then....when republicans took over...nearly all of them would stay in place, because none of the republicans wanted to be called ‘mean’ or be accused of ‘taking something away’ from some group of people- especially not racial minorities or the alphabet crowd-
And so-republicans, over time, have literally allowed a two-tiered system of privilege to develop in this country and across the federal government, in particular- with left wing fringe groups ‘winning’ at every turn.
A course correction back toward ‘common sense’ and back toward ‘real colorblindness’ and equal treatment- is wonderful to see.
So, refreshing.
To drive in the nail-Trump has signed an executive order specifically requiring all agencies to eliminate all their ‘chief diversity officer’ positions by Friday of this week.
I love the acknowledgement-from the start- that ‘we know these democrats like to cheat, and so if your boss tries to rename the office, or hide Dei under a different term...
Or if he or she even tries to ‘cling to the leftist nonsense’ by repacking it as something else in your department- report it immediately.
And don’t think that most employees won’t.
I know we are talking about federal employees, here who tend to be nearly all democrat voters and left-wingers-but no one likes to sit thru these ‘at work’ human resources lectures or seminars.
They’re all a waste of time that pull you away from your work...regardless of the topic.... but...
When it comes to Dei, in particular, no one likes to be forced to sit thru yearly seminars that insist ‘if you are white, you’re racist, and if you are black or brown, ‘you can’t be- but you also can’t get ahead. You are a perpetual victim to whitey...even if you and your white colleagues don’t know it.’
Neither side of that equation wants to sit thru that seminar-and so i can -easily- your run-of-the mill govt worker turning in his or her boss to the trump white house if-a month from now- they find themselves sitting thru a Dei seminar that’s’ been disguised as something else.
Yes. I do think that all sorts of average federal employees who happily be whistleblowers if their ‘woke boss’ tries to keep this going.
And gee-
I don’t think you will be surprised to hear that studies that have been done on the effects of Dei in the workplace have led to more employee resentments and racial divisions within the company.
As I’ve been saying all along when it comes to Dei and critical race theory: the left-wing activists who invented it -want- to ‘reteach racism’. That’s the entire intent: the racial grifters of the 80s and 90s were losing their political power....as their racial grievances and false charges of racism no longer moved people- and so- if they wanted to keep the grift going, they needed to ‘reopen the racial wounds’. Re-divide the country by race and gender.
That’s what all this Dei crap has been about...and so, of course it would create more worker resentment and racial resentment within the company.
Which studies are now showing- happens.
Now think about how poisonous enflaming racial resentments within our military could be: why in the hell were we allowing Biden’s radicals to encourage that for four years?
Thank God it’s over.
I talked a bit about this yesterday: the democrats, their activists, and their talking heads are lost in the political wilderness right now-
With no leaders or leadership-
And no clear way out of this mess they and their socialist progressive radicals have gotten them into over the last 8 years.
My friends- the democrat party and their loyalists on the left didn’t just lose an election- their entire worldview was rejected in November. And in a big way.
Their radical governance and forced wokeism has managed to break a 25-year stalemate in this country that had is divided right down the middle 50-50....as conservatism clashed with liberalism for most of that time.
Then the GOP tent shifted to a more populist, less rigid form of conservatism-with Trumpism- as the democrat tent shifted over to America-hating Marxism they want to call ‘progressivism’....and their first ‘real’ attempt to put into practice-under Biden- failed so miserably that it broke the stalemate and caused a smallish-yet dramatic-shift toward the right.
Their entire world-view and agenda has just been rejected by 60 percent of the American people- and if trump and the GOP can deliver on ‘fixing the problems’ that Biden-era leftists have created...this could be a more permanent electoral shift.
They are shocked to wake up and see Trump not only back in power-but more popular and powerful than ever-
Because their efforts to destroy him while pushing the country toward Marxism failed.
Trump is calling this a revolution of common sense. And it is.
Democrats have gone so crazy with the culture war extremes- and done so much damage with their policies of ‘open borders’, soft on crime, massive govt spending and high inflation-that trump and the republicans really do own ‘common sense’ right now-
And it was the democrats who handed them the advantage. You can’t claim to be smarter than republicans or morally superior to republicans...as you are destroying people’s lives and harming the country at every turn.
Heck-you can’t even claim to be ‘woke’ if you are really that obsessed with race and gender. Only ‘haters’ are obsessed with such things.
You aren’t really for equality, or justice, or any of the other buzzwords you want to toss around...if your mission is to divide and destroy the nation.
And so, yes, let’s return to common sense.
