First there were wedding photographers, then videographers. Did you know there's also a third option now?
A site called Wed Society asked thousands of vendors across the U.S. to predict the top wedding trends of 2025. And "wedding content creator" is #1.
According to the press release, they capture "real-time, authentic, highly engaging social media style content." And they're usually hired "in addition" to photographers and videographers. (Your dad will LOVE paying for it.)
Here are the top wedding trends to look out for this year...
1. Wedding content creator.
2. Small wedding parties. Just a few bridesmaids and groomsmen, not 20.
3. Film-style photography. Photos that LOOK like they were shot with an old-school camera.
4. Mismatched bridesmaid dresses.
5. Multiple wedding dresses. Get married in the first one, then change into a more comfortable dress for the reception.
6. Last dances. You might still have a first dance solo, but then a last one as well to close out the night.
7. Experiential wedding weekends. Unique events or experiences for your guests to take part in before or after your wedding.
8. Custom dance floors. Like wrapping it with your initials or your wedding logo.
9. Drone footage. So, you might be hiring a wedding photographer . . . a videographer . . . a content creator . . . AND a separate drone operator.
10. Themed dress codes. Like asking everyone to dress up in 1920s garb.
