This year's Grammy Awards is fast-approaching, and following the announcement that the show will still take place in the wake of the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, several of music's biggest stars will take the stage as they have been announced as performers for the 2025 ceremony.
The Recording Academy has announced that nominees Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doechii, RAYE, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira and Teddy Swims will all perform at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Boone and Swims are both up for Best New Artist, and also nominated in the category is Raye (also up for Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical).
Eilish is up for several Grammy Awards this year, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for "BIRDS OF A FEATHER," Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Charli XCX "Guess," and Best Pop Dance Recording for "L'AMOUR DE MA VIE [OVER NOW EXTENDED EDIT]."
Roan, who had a tremendous 2024, is nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Good Luck, Babe!," Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess, and Best New Artist.
Charli XCX took over 2024 with her album brat, and is taking over the Grammys too, as she is also nominated across multiple categories, including Record of the Year and Best Music Video for "360," Album of the Year, Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Recording Package for brat, Best Pop Solo Performance for "Apple," Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Eilish for "Guess," and Best Dance Pop Recording for "Von Dutch."
Doechii is up for Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance for "NISSAN ALTIMA," and Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal.
Sabrina Carpenter had a huge year, touring with Taylor Swift, heading out on her own headlining tour, and releasing her hit album Short n' Sweet, and the success continues into 2025 with multiple Grammy nominations. Carpenter is up for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Espresso," Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Engineered Album Non-Classical for Short n' Sweet, Song of the Year for "Please Please Please," and Best New Artist.
Shakira is nominated for Best Latin Pop Album for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.
