Bob Dylan is hitting the road for the 2025 edition of his "Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour" but the itinerary is a surprising one. The legendary singer-songwriter is playing small towns in the United States, kicking things off in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 25 before heading to Wichita, Kansas; Mankato, Minnesota; and Green Bay, Wisconsin.
As Rolling Stone points out, Mankato is the 21st-largest city in Dylan’s home state with a population of 46,000. The short trek is his first announced tour dates of the year.
The news comes after Dylan's biopic A Complete Unknown hit theaters. He was heavily involved with the film's production, to the point where he didn't approve the script until he did a table read where he performed all the Bob Dylan dialogue. The move ended up working out well, with A Complete Unknown snagging eight Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. Timothée Chalamet, who plays Dylan in the biopic, was also nominated for Actor in a Leading Role.
