Minivans were introduced in the early 1980s, with the Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager leading the way. Since then, minivan sales have dropped, while sales of SUVs have surged. But maybe, just maybe, things are about to change, as minivans might be making a comeback. A number of carmakers showed off their new, luxury minivans at a huge auto show in China. These aren't your soccer mom's minivans. Instead, they're huge and fancy, as if they were designed to be status symbols.
