(Des Moines, IA) -- A motorcyclist is dead after a crash on Des Moines' south side Wednesday. Police say it happened near SW 9th St and Luster Lane. That's just west of the zoo. The driver of the car involved is also hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
