As we head into back-to-school season, kids aren’t just asking for notebooks and pencils, parents say they’re chasing trendy water bottles, collectible charms dolls, and even asking for pricey gadgets. Social media is fueling the craze, with many parents saying their kids are influenced by what they see online. From $80 Adidas sneakers and $30 Labubu dolls to $500 iPads and $45 Stanley cups, the wishlist is stacked… and expensive! As a result, nearly half of parents expect to take on debt just to keep up, making this one of the priciest school years yet.
