There's a rumor that Metallica might be doing a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
The publication Vital Vegas reported the rumor on Friday (July 25), noting that they learned from sources that the metal giants are preparing to sign a deal with the iconic venue. As of now, the only details they've allegedly learned is that the residency could take place in the fall of 2026.
The Las Vegas Sphere opened in late September of 2023. So far, only nine artists and bands have performed at the venue. U2 were the first group to play the Sphere, and had two separate residencies there.

An Ozzy Osbourne Biographer Credits Sharon for Keeping Him Alive
The biographer who wrote the 2023 Ozzy Osbourne biography, "Ozzy At 75 : The Unofficial Illustrated History", has a few things to say to Sharon's haters.
His name is Daniel Bukszpan and he's aware that some heavy metal fans see her as this "evil shrew" and "puppet master" who controlled Ozzy. Quote, "The truth of it is she met him after he had been fired from Black Sabbath.
"He was borderline homeless . . . And due to her ability to corral him and direct him and that sort of thing, she made him one of the biggest stars in the world. I believe she kept him alive the whole time."
Daniel clarified that it's no secret that Sharon has been known to be unpleasant at times. Quote, "I just think the way she's being characterized is wrong. And the fact that he made it to 76, I give all the credit to her.
"She kept him going and put up with a lot of stuff you wouldn't put up with for a minute in your own marriage. But she took [her] vows seriously and stood by him . . . If it was just about business, she would've stopped a long time ago."
