Hot N' Now is open for business

The beloved fast-food chain Hot 'n Now is making a comeback with the opening of a new location in Wayland, today (October 13). The restaurant, known for its affordable menu, will open its doors at 10:30 a.m. and will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The new establishment is located at 1146 129th Avenue, across from the Gun Lake Casino and behind Noonday Market.

Hot 'n Now, originally founded in Kalamazoo in the 1980s, gained popularity for its 39-cent burgers and olive burgers. The chain expanded rapidly before facing bankruptcy in the early 2000s, leaving only one independent location in Sturgis, Michigan. The revival of the brand is a result of a partnership between Gun Lake Investments (GLI) and Alpena business owner Jeff Konczak, who formed HNN Holdings LLC and acquired the Hot 'n Now name.
