We had been asking whether or not you share your favorite holiday recipes with friends and family or do you like to keep them a secret. SOO many of you said sharing is LOVE. So a listener Ellen called to say every time she makes this Cherry Sauce people ask for the recipe. It's been in her family for a long time and she wanted YOU to have it. Happy Beautiful holiday Ellen and to each of you who make it- I hope you feel her love.

1 Cup Rose` Wine
Drain cherries and keep the syrup. In a medium saucepan on low add the syrup, combine sugar cornstarch & spices and stir into the syrup, gradually add the vinegar & water turn heat up to low/medium and stir constantly until thickened. Once thickened add the wine & cherries and turn to low and cook a few more minutes. You can transfer to a small serving bowl with a small ladle or spoon.
**My uncle's family would serve this over ham on Easter and it is also good on ice cream and rice pudding. My uncle passed 2 years ago at the age of 82 so this is a very old but Good recipe. I hope you enjoy it as much and I do.
