Joe Burrow threw interceptions on back-to-back 4th quarter plays, including a 63-yard Pick 6, and the Bengals saw their 10 point lead flipped to a 11 point deficit in a span of about five and a half minutes late.
The Bengals dropped to 4-9 on a day it snowed throughout.
Christian Benford’s Pick 6 of Burrow gave the Bills their first lead of the game with 5:25 left. Burrow was then intercepted on his next snap with 5:11 remaining, leading to another Bills TD.
Trailing 39-28 with 2:13 left, Burrow found Tee Higgins for a 25-yard TD. The two point attempt failed. But Josh Allen scrambled 17 yards on 3rd & 15 with 1:06 remaining to seal it.
The Bengals had scored on each of their first three drives, led 21-11 at halftime, and 28-18 with 8:44 left.
With the Bills driving for a late 3rd quarter lead, DJ Turner forced a fumble near the goal line and Oren Burks recovered. Burrow then found Mike Gesicki for a 12-yard TD for a 28-18 lead with 8:44 left in the game. But 1:11 later, Josh Allen beat a blitz with a 40-yard TD run to cut it to 28-25 with 7:33 left.
