Coldplay, U2, Ed Sheeran, Dave Matthews Band and Taylor Swift are the Top 5 on Pollstar's Most Popular Touring Artists of the Millennium.
This new list is based strictly on ticket sales from January 2001 to December 2025. Coldplay have sold 24.8 million tickets in that time, with U2 following with 20.2 million, Ed Sheeran 19.65 million, Dave Matthews Band 19.55 million and Taylor Swift with 18.8 million.
The rest of the Top 10 is Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band with 18.6 million, Kenny Chesney at 18.1 million, Metallica at 15.5 million, Bon Jovi at 13.9 million and Elton John with 13.8 million.
The average ticket price among all 25 artists is $104.83, but Swift has the highest average at $165.54, followed closely by The Rolling Stones, who ranked at number-12 overall, at $162.96. Swift also has grossed the most money, with $3.1 billion, followed by Coldplay with $2.4 billion.
