Oasis Reportedly Turned Down Sphere Residency On The Advice Of Bono
Oasis may have passed on playing the Sphere in Las Vegas, and U2's Bono might be the reason why. According to a report from "The Sun," Noel Gallagher decided against doing a residency at the high-tech venue after Bono complained about the huge costs of putting on a show there. U2 did 40 shows at the Sphere in 2023 and 2024, making it one of the highest-earning residencies ever. But sources say Gallagher didn't want to spend big money on a show that might lose cash. The band just finished their reunion tour in November and hasn't announced what's next.

Garbage Fans Double Down On Beach Balls After Shirley Manson Rant
Garbage fans had some fun at their singer's expense this weekend. Last week, Shirley Manson went on an angry rant after seeing someone with a beach ball during the band's set in Melbourne, Australia, and called the fan a "douchebag." So at the band's next show in Brisbane on Sunday, fans filled the crowd with beach balls in response, which shouldn’t have come as a surprise. Manson noticed and used the moment to make a point; she apologized to beach ball lovers but said she was shocked that the story got more attention than the crisis in Palestine, where thousands of children have died.

Avenged Sevenfold, Good Charlotte To Tour Together. NO HOUSTON DATE!
Two big rock bands are teaming up for a summer tour. Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte will hit the road together for 16 shows across North America in 2026. The tour kicks off July 25th in Ridgedale, Missouri, and wraps up August 27th in Phoenix, Arizona. Other stops include Chicago, Detroit, Toronto and more. Both bands have new material to promote; Avenged Sevenfold just released a new song called "Magic" over the weekend, and Good Charlotte put out their first album in seven years, "Motel Du Cap," back in August.
