(UNDATED ) -- Americans are into protein. That's what one food and grocery delivery service found, after looking at all orders so far in 2025.
Grub Hub says beans were most ordered item ...up 135 percent compared to last year.
Canned fish is having a moment with orders surging 209 %.
Anything with protein was popular. Requests for chicken nuggets, tenders or strips totaled 750 orders AN HOUR. That's more than 5 million pieces of chicken.
76 % of those were nuggets.
Sales of eggs jumped 58%.
Matcha was the number 1 drink.
