Lend A Helping Can

Lend a Helping Can raises money for 12 New England charitable agencies to feed the Needy and Homeless.

 

Mack, Brooks, Reed in Double Figures, TYgers Beat New Philadelphia, Now 4-0

The Mansfield Senior boys basketball team improved to 4-0 on Friday, December 12th, with a 62-52 win at Pete Henry gym over New Philadelphia.

It was the TYgers home opener, as three players scored in double figures for Senior High: Kaylen Brooks with 17, Davion Mack with 16 points, which included 10/12 at the free throw line and one thunderous dunk, and Rashad Reed with 15 points.

Mansfield Senior used a 12-1 run in the 4th quarter to pull away, after the Quakers tied the game at 39-39. The TYgers outscored New Philadelphia, 23-17, in the final quarter to move to 2-0 in the Ohio Cardinal Conference. The Quakers suffered their 1st loss of the year and are now 2-1 overall and 0-1 in the OCC.
