The Cleveland Browns have been eliminated from the NFL Playoffs for a while now and they’re letting rookie QB Shedeur Sanders get some experience while expectations are extremely low, however, those expectations for Shedeur will climb next season. And he’s going to need to be twice the QB the Browns are hoping for if he has any hope of living up to the hype he has created around himself.
Doug Gottlieb: “If you’re the Browns, Shedeur Sander has to be 1.5x of what you think you’re looking for to keep him… He doesn’t just have to prove that he can play to position competently, he has to, by my estimation, prove that one day he can someday be a star. Otherwise, all this other nonsense isn’t worth it. It’s just not.”
