Charlie Smyth kicked a 47-yard field goal in the final seconds to give the Saints a 20-17 win over the Panthers.
Tyler Shough completed 24 of 32 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown to Chris Olave as part of New Orleans' 10-point comeback. Olave led the team with six catches for 85 yards, while Devin Neal added a score on the ground.
The Saints have won back-to-back games to improve to 4-10.
Bryce Young threw for 163 yards and a touchdown in the Carolina setback. Young and Rico Dowdle each rushed for 49 yards, while Jalen Coker led the team with four catches for 60 yards and a score.
The Panthers are now 7-7, second place in the division due to tiebreakers.
