On Saturday, 1,435 couples gathered at Anthem Row in Washington, D.C., to break the Guinness World Record for the most couples kissing under mistletoe.
The event was organized by the DowntownDC Business Improvement District and crushed the previous record of 480 couples set in St. Louis in 2019.
The mass kiss took place beneath the “National Mistletoe,” a large aerial art installation designed by artist My Ly Design.
This was the second year the installation was featured in DowntownDC during the holiday season.
