President Trump hitting the limelight on Wednesday evening, holding a primetime address to the nation to tout his administration's accomplishments thus far.
Trump opened the speech by slamming former President Biden for the "mess" he inherited, blasting the previous administration for bombarding the country with millions of illegal aliens.
While speaking, President Trump celebrated falling costs of gasoline and grocery prices, specifically mentioning eggs and the price of turkey this Thanksgiving. He added car prices have also fallen from what they were under the previous administration.
He also addressed what has become a housing crisis in the United States and laid out his plans to revive the industry and make homes more affordable for Americans.
Trump thanked his administration for the work they have done in securing the border, saying it has become the "strongest border in history."
He also touted the work they have done in getting Americans back to work. Trump said that 100-percent of all the job creating during his time in office has come in the private sector, as opposed to fluffing up labor reports with government jobs. He added that 100-percent of those new jobs as well have all gone to hardworking Americans, instead of illegal aliens, as they did under the Biden administration. Trump noted too that reverse migration has been rising for the first time in decades.
Trump also unveiled a special surprise for our nation's heroes, sending military members a $1,776 "warrior dividend" check this Christmas, all paid for with tariff revenues.
Top cap it off, President Trump looked ahead into 2026, saying the United States is respected once again.
